If you or someone you know has had a heart attack, stroke or a diagnosis of cardiovascular disease in the past 5 years, you may be eligible for a clinical research study of an investigational medication.
The Cardiac Prevention Center at Weill Cornell Medical College is conducting a research trial for people with the above medical history.
This study is evaluating the effect of a investigational medication that is being studied to see if it may lower cholesterol compared with placebo, given as a subcutaneous injection.
We are seeking men and women, 40 to 85 years of age, with the above profile to participate in a research trial lasting up to 4 years. Participation will also depend on other requirements.
