"Becoming a Parent After Cancer: A Surrogacy Journey"
Jennifer Rachman, Ovarian Cancer Survivor, Circle Surrogacy Outreach Coordinator
Cancer in young adults affects nearly 72,000 people each year. Of this number, many are not only faced with their diagnosis, but also with fears about becoming infertile as a result of their treatment. Surrogacy is one option for survivors that allow them to become a parent after a cancer diagnosis. Please join Jennifer Rachman as she shares with you her own cancer experiences, how she came to accept the loss of her fertility and learn how she became a mother through surrogacy. This Young Adult event will also provide an opportunity to network and share information with other young adults after the lecture.
Gilda's Club NYC lectures are open to the public. If we do not have the minimum number of reservations 48 hours prior to an activity, it will be cancelled.
Material and information provided by Gilda's Club NYC is for educational purposes and for discussion with your medical team and should not be considered medical advice. Information and opinions expressed at lectures are not endorsements by Gilda's Club NYC for any treatment, product, or service.
